The Megaformer™

250 lbs of fitness equipment gold. Two platforms bookending a spring-loaded carriage on wheels, with the resistance altered to challenge the target muscle group through slow-speed training. Open any of the four below to see what that means on the floor.

A spring-loaded carriage on wheels sits between the two platforms. Depending on the target muscle group, the carriage resistance is altered to challenge the body through slow-speed training.

Ten and a half feet long, roughly 250 pounds, with two platforms bookending the carriage. There is room to work standing, kneeling, seated and prone on the same machine.

Plan to lunge, plank and squat in various ways, all at a consistently slow tempo with energizing music, in small group classes.

Semi-private instruction by a Lagree Fitness certified trainer, coaching, correcting and adjusting resistance for the whole 45 minutes.

03 / The experience

What a class feels like.

Every class is programmed differently, so no two sequences are identical. The rhythm tends to go something like this.

01

Arrive and check in

New? Come 15 minutes early. We will show you the private changing rooms, cubbies and filtered water.

02

Meet your instructor

They will set your Mega up, walk you through the carriage and springs, and note anything you need modified.

03

Move through the sequence

Slow, controlled, full-body work: lunges, planks, squats and core, with the music up.

04

Feel the shake

It arrives on its own schedule. The shake means the muscle is working. Stay with it.

05

Leave accomplished

Challenged, supported, and already looking at the schedule for your next one.

04 / The results

Long, lean, and a whole lot stronger.

Long lean muscle tone. Increased strength. Greater self confidence and an overall bad-ass attitude. Classes are small, our instructors focus solely on positive reinforcement, and they love the workout as much as you will.

If you’re ready to make change happen, step out of your comfort zone and find the best version of you. Now’s the time, and Coastal Core is your answer.

These are goals and common benefits members work toward, not guaranteed outcomes. Individual results vary.
